Ninestar predicts big increase in net profits

In the company’s forecast for the first nine months of 2022, Ninestar predicts profit increases of 80.68- 92.72% year-on-year.

For the period between 1 January to 30 September 2022, Ninestar predicts profits to be between RMB 1.5 billion ($208 million/ €212 million) and RMB 1.6 billion ($222 million/ €226 million), a year-on-year increase 80.68-92.72%. For just the third quarter the company predicts profits to be between RMB 434 million ($60 million/ €61 million) to 534 million ($74 million/ €75 million), a year-on-year increase of 42.88- 75.80%.

For its printer business, Ninestar’s forecasts said that In the first three quarters of 2022, Pantum’s operating income was about RMB 3.4 billion ($472 million/ €480 million), a year-on-year increase of 21%. Compared with the previous year, the sales volume increased by about 40%, the company said.

Ninestar added “with the official opening of Zhuhai Pingsha Laser Printer Industrial Park in May and the official start of the Hefei Laser Printer Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, the production capacity of Pantum will be guaranteed and improved”, looking to meet the domestic and foreign market demand.

Lexmark’s supply chain recovered well, Ninestar said. Lexmark’s operating income for the first three quarters was approximately $1.75 billion (€1.78 billion), a year-on-year increase of about 10% and Lexmark printer sales increased by about 27% year-on-year.

For the consumables business, Ninestar said that in the first three quarters of 2022 it achieved an operating income of about RMB 4.6 billion ($639 million/ €649 million), a year-on-year increase of about 15%.
