Ninestar releases performance forecast

The company has released its performance forecast for the first half year of 2022.

For the period, Ninestar projects net profits of between ¥1 – 1.150 billion ($148/ €148 million – $171/€170 million) for the first half of 2022. Compared to the same period of the previous year, it is an increase of 89.96%-118.45%.

Ninestar said that Pantum operating income for the period is estimated at about ¥2.113 billion, a 14% increase year-on-year. Lexmark’s operating income was about $1.16 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 10%. Sales of Lexmark printers were up about 18% year-on-year.

For its printer consumables business Ninestar said it is seeing gradual recovery from extended COVID effects and said that the current trend is positive, with operating income increasing by about 16% year-on-year.

This performance forecast is the result of the preliminary calculation of the company’s financial department and is still subject to be audited.
