Plastic pollution could outweigh fish by 2050

Plastic pollution could outweigh fish by 2050

May 10, 2018

The latest infographic from CIG discloses the shocking revelation that, by 2050, plastic pollution will outweigh fish pound for pound.

This is the latest in a series of plastic pollution infographics produced by Clover Imaging Group in recent weeks, exposing the various dangers of this ever-growing global issue.

Our coverage of previous infographics can be found here, here, here, here, here and here.

Plastic waste has been in the news on a frequent basis of late, with a recent survey unveiling British fears around pollution caused by plastic, while an EU report published in February issued a call for more data on the subject.

On a more positive note, plastic waste has been put to good use in both India and the UK as a means of constructing and resurfacing roads.
