Marco Technologies expands US East Coast presence with two strategic acquisitions.
In the backdrop of an ongoing trend of consolidation within the US market, Marco Technologies has announced a significant step towards consolidating its position on the US East Coast by acquiring two leading copier and printer companies.
The expansion includes the acquisition of Laser Tone Business Systems in Milford, Delaware, and Hunter Business Systems in Monroe Township, New Jersey.
Steve Martin, representing Laser Tone and Hunter Business Systems, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, stating, “We are proud to announce that Laser Tone Business Systems and Hunter Business Systems are joining the Marco Team. Marco Technologies, with its extensive offerings, was the best fit for our customers and sales team. Marco will continue to cover the territories that both companies have nurtured along the way.”
With the addition of Laser Tone Business Systems in Delaware, Marco’s footprint now spans 13 states. The company established its East Coast presence in 2018, with offices in Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Marco has earned them numerous accolades, including recognition as one of Star Tribune’s Top 200 Workplaces in 2022 and a ranking in the Channel Futures MSP 501.
Marco CEO Doug Albregts emphasised the company’s dedication to maintaining high levels of service and technical expertise, stating, “Marco looks forward to continuing both Laser Tone and Hunter Business Systems’ commitment to satisfying their clients and expanding the services and technical expertise we can provide them. In May this year, The Recycler reported that Marco Technologies acquired Karpinski’s Office Systems in Coudersport. Karpinski’s Office Systems’ team that joined Marco’s East Coast unit.
