Cartridge World Europe announced the launch of its new mobile print service in the UK with the first location now live at Cartridge World Scarborough.
The company described the service as “ideal for coffee shops, hotels, colleges, universities and libraries in enabling a mobile workforce, or anyone with a mobile device, the ability to print, copy or scan.”
“PrinterR is an innovative, innovative solution to meet the demands of the rapidly growing workforce, to provide ‘print on the go’ technology directly from their mobile devices at Wi-Fi enabled printers,” the company added.
The service was first launched in the USA in 2018 and following successful testing, has now been rolled out in the UK and is looking to be expanded all across Europe. Cartridge World is still looking for suitable locations to host PrinterR. All the location needs is a Wi-Fi enabled printer and guest Wi-Fi, Cartridge World will take care of the rest.
Cartridge World said: “This is an opportunity for businesses to ‘utilise their printer’ to add an additional revenue stream to an existing business, provide a unique service and increase foot traffic.
“As a company, we recognise the importance of developing new solutions to meet the demands of our B2C and B2B customers, as well as making Cartridge World and printing, more accessible to everyone. Not everybody wants to be burdened with the ongoing costs of owning a printer, mobile workers and students need access to a reliable print service that doesn’t cost the earth. This service will change the way people print.“
Earlier this month, The Recycler reported on Canon Australia who launched its ‘PrintNow’ App and services which enables users to print from anywhere to a “shared” printer location directly from their mobile phone.
Cartridge World is looking for resellers and distributors to resell PrinterR across Europe so if you are interested, contact Mike Hemming for further information or check out www.cartridgeworldeurope.com/printerr.
