ARMOR makes case for remanufactured cartridges

In a new blog post, ARMOR is making the case for how remanufactured cartridges should be part of a company’s responsible purchasing policy.
As part of its “Expert Advice” series, ARMOR is highlighting that IT related products are not being reused enough. ARMOR writes: ”This is mainly the case with print cartridges, 70% of which are thrown away without being reused. Remanufactured cartridges give you the opportunity to make a responsible purchase directly from reuse.”
Making the case for a second life for cartridges, ARMOR explains the process of remanufacturing the cartridges and how it is even more economical to use remanufactured or refilled cartridges because “these cartridges are, depending on the model, filled with more ink and toner powder than the original ones from the printer manufacturers, thus offering a longer life for the consumable.”
ARMOR also recently published its responsible purchasing guide, a practical guide to responsible purchasing. This publication is aimed at private and public sector players wishing to implement a responsible purchasing policy within their organisations, in line with recent legislative developments.
