Zhono warns of new Sharp firmware update

The company has confirmed its aftermarket chips for use with Sharp MX61 series copiers are not affected by firmware update.

Zhono explained that on 20 October 2021, Sharp released the latest firmware 05.00.Z2.00, which upgrades the Sharp MX61 series copiers. Zhono has confirmed that its aftermarket chips for the Sharp MX61 series are compatible with both the latest and previous copier firmware (see Figure 1).

The company said it will continue to monitor firmware updates and provide its customers with sound solutions.
