Toshiba honoured by Orange County Business Journal

The Orange County Business Journal honoured Toshiba America Business Solutions as one of its 2023 Companies That Cares.
The Orange County Business Journal recognises companies that have gone above and beyond for the Orange County, California community through philanthropic efforts and accomplishments.
This year, Toshiba continues to volunteer for and provide money and in-kind donations to charities conducting good works across Orange County.
Toshiba Employees Helping Others
- Once a month Toshiba staff prepares and enjoys dinner with 25-35 youths at Orangewood Foundation, a non-profit for foster youth. Year-round, company personnel provide clothing, school supplies and hygiene products to Orangewood Foundation participants. Toshiba additionally helped raise over $20,000 (€18,281) by generously matching donations for the Orangewood Foundation during the company’s September LEAD Beyond event. Toshiba is a 10-year advocate of this impactful non-profit.
- Toshiba employees deliver gifts to senior and disabled adults through SmileMakers, a programme of The Council on Aging Southern California. This year marks the seventh year Toshiba personnel have supported this worthy cause.
- Toshiba is a longtime proponent of Ocean Institute, a non-profit that educates science, technology, engineering and mathematics elements to 100,000 children, teachers, parents and visitors annually via more than 60 marine and maritime history programs. The company has title-sponsored Ocean Institute’s Maritime Festival from the event’s beginnings in 1984. A Toshiba executive has also participated on Ocean Institute’s Board of Directors since 2000.
