Epson America Inc. today announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Tom Versfelt, Vice President of Channel and Commercial Sales, to its 2021 list of Channel Chiefs. The CRN Channel Chiefs list, released annually, recognises leading IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate outstanding leadership, influence, innovation, and growth.
“Being recognised in CRN’s Channel Chief list for the seventh consecutive year is an honour. However, being included this year brings much more meaning. The past year was one that no one could have anticipated due to the pandemic,” said Versfelt. “Prioritising our partners to help them address the new economy, along with providing Epson’s diverse portfolio of product solutions, has allowed us to successfully manage business in this new economy, enabling our partners to stay engaged in today’s hybrid workforce environment.”
Versfelt is responsible for overseeing Epson’s North American commercial sales teams and channel organisation. His team develops go-to-market and cross-selling strategies to expand Epson’s penetration of the corporate market with business printers, projectors, scanners, and print as a service solutions. He is also responsible for the large-format and textile channel, factory automation robotics and industrial label sales and channel. Channel growth, partner relationships and profitability are his top priorities for Epson’s channel programme, Epson said. Having joined Epson in 2014, Versfelt boasts more than 30 years of sales and operational leadership success in the areas of networking, systems and collaboration software.
The 2021 Channel Chiefs are prominent leaders who have influenced the IT channel with cutting-edge strategies, programs and partnerships. All honourees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff based on their dedication, industry prestige, and exceptional accomplishments as channel advocates.
