Jenny Ai, short for Artificial Intelligence, is an advanced language model created by OpenAI, with a vast repository of knowledge and up-to-date information. Developed to provide an immersive and interactive news experience, Jenny Ai engages with listeners in a conversational manner, making complex topics more accessible to a wide audience.
Stefanie Unland, The Recycler’s editor and publisher, said of Jenny: “Like a lot of readers, we have been exploring how to use AI in our business. One use is in converting text, which we write a lot of, into podcasts and webinars. I hear you, but you already have a podcast you say, and you are right we do. But we wanted to push the boundaries to see what else we could do. For instance, creating more in-depth podcasts from our thirty plus years of content.
For our first podcast we created Jenny Ai and used our latest weekly news as a script. Copied and pasted the news into the programme and generated the podcast segments. We had to alter the script a little. The pronunciation of Biuromax and Zhuhai had to be changed to Buromax and Zoo hi and a few other words, but in generally it worked ok. All in all, it took two hours to produce and upload.
The Beta version of the podcast aims to gather feedback from listeners, refining and enhancing the user experience based on their valuable input.
