Ninestar predict H1 peformance with profits

The company has released its first half year performance forecast, predicting profits but a year-on-year decrease.
Ninestar forecasts profits to be around RMB300 – 450 million ($42/€37 – $63/€56 million), a decrease of 57.78-71.86%.
In the first half of 2023, the operating income of the general consumables business is expected to be about RMB2.911 billion ($405 million/ €362 million), a year-on-year decrease of about 5.95%
Pantum is expected to achieve an operating income of about RMB 2.191 billion ($305 million/ €272 million), a year-on-year increase of about 3.68% with printer sales being up 7%. Ninestar said it has started to see localisation in the market and a higher demand on A3 devices.
Lexmark International’s operating income will be approximately $1.013 billion (€904 million), a year-on-year decrease of approximately 13%. The sales volume of self-owned brand printers increased by about 12% year-on-year.
Geehy Microelectronics’ (Apex) operating income will be about RMB770 million ($107 million/ €96 million), a year-on-year decrease of about 27%. Total chips sales experienced a year-on-year increase of approximately 13.5% (of which non-consumable chip sales increased by 74% year-on-year).
