Konica Minolta launches new bizhub devices

The OEM has revealed the launch of the new bizhub C759 and C659, targeting the high-end colour MFP market.
Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has announced the debut of the Konica Minolta bizhub C759 and the bizhub C659, two multifunction solutions for offices “where speed and colour quality are essential but production print equipment is not necessary.”
Featuring the company’s award-winning InfoPalette control panel design, the Konica Minolta bizhub C759 and bizhub C659 offer high-quality colour printing, high-speed scanning at 240 originals per minute in duplex mode, and more, including:
- Standard web browser to enable a wide range of applications
- Advanced connectivity including a built-in NFC
- Cloud connectivity for scanning applications
- Wireless printing options
- A variety of finishing options (stapling, 2- and 3-hole punch, booklet binding)
With the standard web browser and 4GB of memory these units are ready to integrate with the Konica Minolta MarketPlace. Users can create a free account on the MarketPlace website and have “immediate access to easy to use apps.”
Konica Minolta describes the MarketPlace as a “great source” for cutting-edge technology—and explains that, with new apps being developed all the time, their new multifunction printer (MFP) will become “even more powerful” with new capabilities in all the right categories. Scanning, printing, social networking, security, document management, and cloud-based apps are all “easy to access” and have been designed to help increase productivity.
“The Konica Minolta bizhub C759 and bizhub C659 fill a need for office environments that really want high-quality colour printing but don’t require production print-level devices,” said Dina Pagliarello, Vice President, Product Management and Planning, Konica Minolta. “These two models can give offices the speed, colour capabilities and intelligent connectivity that maybe they never had before.”
