G&G reveals new large-format ink cartridges

G&G has released replacement ink cartridges suitable for use in HP’s DesignJet range of printers.
In October 2023, HP launched the DesignJet T850/950 series printers. These large-format printers are specifically designed to meet the printing needs of AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) professionals. The new printers utilise the latest HP 738 cartridges and the HP 728 cartridges.
HP uses a flexible rubber bulb-like structure in many of its DesignJet ink cartridges, such as the HP 10, HP 72, and HP 730/738. It is an advanced technology pioneered by HP to detect ink that remains in the cartridge. However, this technology has posed many challenges for the aftermarket wanting to develop and supply alternative replacement ink cartridges.
G&G explains that it has successfully tackled these challenges and has developed its own quality and stable ink solution through the following innovations:
Rubber bulb and micro-pressure valve design: This design efficiently prevents ink backflow when the printer mechanism presses the rubber bulb, which can avoid the error of “Ink System Failure.” Additionally, each cartridge undergoes four rigorous testing procedures conducted by different precise equipment to guarantee quality and stability.- Bubble-collecting structure: The inclusion of bubble-collecting technologies in the ink cartridge prevents the “rubber bulb” from becoming dented by the air bubbles inside the ink cartridge. This ensures smooth ink flow and avoids the “Ink System Failure” error message.
- Geehy (APEX) high-quality chips: G&G’s ink cartridges are equipped with smart chips developed internally by Geehy to ensure quick recognition and accurate supply monitoring. Each cartridge comes with a serial code for users to recognise. G&G also regularly updates the serial codes to prevent recognition issues due to duplicate serial codes, giving users peace of mind.
G&G now offers its own replacement ink cartridges for the HP DesignJet T830/1500/1600/1700 series of printers.
