Aster UK celebrates successful start

Aster UK, subsidiary of Aster Technology Holland B.V., has reported a successful first 6 months of trading, and Aster says it is also celebrating “consistent” successes in both new and ongoing business.
Aster opened its UK-based office and warehouse in Lichfield, Staffordshire in May 2018, as the company explains, “with the idea that any potential change in the UK economy will not have a negative effect on our UK customers.”
The new warehouse has a total floor space of 1,000m2 with an initial stock of over 50,000 cartridges ready for next day delivery. In addition to a large range of toner products, Aster reveals the warehouse also provides customised and flexible services which include but are not limited to plain label drop shipment with 1-hour timed delivery slots, bespoke packaging services, and real time technical support along with online and EDI ordering capabilities.
Aster says it has “embraced the adoption of EDI and online ordering with a team of highly trained technicians continuously working on improving and innovating the system to drive efficient and seamless purchasing for its customers.”
“With the new UK warehouse, we are able to respond more efficiently to the demands of our customers with the offering of daily price and stock files in multiple formats, a dedicated processing team enabling us to dispatch all orders placed by 4:30pm for next day delivery,” Tim Jackson, General Manager of Aster UK, stated. “Aster is here to support our existing customers in the UK by offering reduced shipping costs and improving delivery times as well as new dealers looking to purchase directly with a world leading manufacturer which produces a high-quality IP-Free product.”
