Thijs Tuinstra, CEO of Creative Imaging Technologies BV (CiT), joined the industry in 2000 at Tonerfill in Leeuwarden, later Turbon.

He holds a master in chemistry and had a previous carrier in Quality & Environmental consultancy before joining the industry.

His skills on remanufacturing and imaging technologies were shaped during 4.5 years with Turbon.

He founded CiT in 2005, with a focus to develop niches for the remanufacturing market, that was dominated by HP and Canon at that time.

Today CiT still focuses on parts for recyclers with a focus on strong technical support. His team supports 400 clients mainly in Europe with over 8.000 parts in the programme.

CiT’s know-how on Kyocera and OKI still belong to one of strongest portfolio’s in the industry.

Thijs Tuinstra is married and has 3 children. In his private life, he is a fanatic runner and triathlete.
