Uninet Europe’s Managing Director will give two talks at the event in January.
The REMCON conference programme, which will be chaired again by Lightwords’ Peter Mayhew, is now live on our events website here. Each day will begin with a morning briefing where visitors can “take a few minutes to network and find out” what’s going on and what’s happened at the show, followed by a short introductory discussion by Mayhew before the programme begins. The programme is subject to change, so keep checking back on our events website for the latest.
Matya’s first talk, The big challenge, will take place on both Saturday 28 January and Tuesday 31 January, at 4pm and 11.50am, and will see Matyas discuss the millennial generation and its importance for the future of business, specifically looking at how the industry will engage with millennial business when the generation is in control of purchasing decision.
His second talk, Parallel channels, will be given on Sunday 29 January at 2.40pm, and will see Matyas discussing adjacent channels for business – including label, commercial and speciality printing – and why they are attractive for remanufacturers, as well as offering a good growth area for a remanufacturing business to consider investing in.
Matyas commented: “I’m very excited about talking at the REMCON 2017 at such an exciting moment for our industry. After a very busy 2016 we are facing a pivotal 2017 and the mantra is ‘CHANGE OR DIE’. The office imaging industry is by no means business as usual. Traditional business models are being disrupted, reinvented and redefined. The customers are different and their purchasing behaviour is changing.
“In both of my presentations I will talk about different types of change affecting our way of doing business. Change brings opportunities, and reacting to them is key for future business success. The ‘new type of customer’ needs different type of engagement, and the new type of market needs different business models. I’m looking forward to sharing my views and expecting an interactive conversation with the audience.”
A wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event – taking place from 28 to 31 January 2017 in Frankfurt, Germany – as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event. Previous exhibitors have already received an email containing a personal link to registration as well, and you can register for the event here. Nominations for The Recycler Awards are also now open, and you can learn more here.
