Willem Appelo leaves Xerox after working for company since 1991.Democrat and Chronicle reports that Willem Appelo, who was appointed as President of Xerox Technology’s global delivery group earlier this year, has resigned as revealed in a company-wide announcement of his departure made by Xerox President Armando Zagalo De Lima.
No reason has been ascertained for Appelo’s decision to leave the company that has employed him since 1991 and for which he also served as Corporate Vice-President from 2004 until his most recent appointment.
Appelo’s role saw him overseeing worldwide manufacturing, purchasing and supply-chain issues for Xerox’s technology business, with Russell Peacock, President of Xerox’s Global Imaging Systems and of Xerox Canada, due to take over his responsibilities. Appelo will remain with the OEM for a transitional period.
