Xerox receives Sustainability Partner Award

Citigroup Inc presented the OEM with its 2017 Sustainability Partner award, recognising Xerox’s success in delivering global MPS.

The Citi Supplier Awards “recognise partners that help Citi with meaningful successes, best-in-class efforts, and high levels of performance and excellence that exemplify Citi’s values, mission and principles and enhance its diversity and ethical, social and environmental impacts.”

Over the last five years Xerox has collaborated with Citi, which is one of the largest financial services providers in the world, to develop and operate a global MPS solution composed of black-and-white and colour printers and multifunction devices that combine printing, copying, faxing and scanning.

“We take sustainability seriously and we want to protect our planet,” explained Mike Feldman, President of North America Operations at Xerox. “We work tirelessly to help customers like Citigroup reduce their carbon footprint and energy usage, as recognized by this coveted award.”

The Xerox team achieved its sustainability goals by implementing default two-sided printing and energy saver settings, and also by managing enterprise print behaviour. The MPS solution has provided secure and efficient technology to support quality of service.

Xerox was presented with the accolade at the annual Citi Supplier Awards ceremony at Citigroup headquarters in New York.
