CIOL reports that Xerox has launched several new printer models in India, with the OEM introducing Phaser 3040 printers and WorkCenter 3045 MFPs, which the company states are “designed for durability, maximum productivity at minimal size and higher performance at a lower price”.
The printers are reportedly “eco-friendly” and “high-performance oriented”, with Xerox also claiming that the Hi-Q-LED devices are energy efficient and provide “outstanding” print resolution. The company also highlighted that the new models come with Xerox EA toner, which “fuses at much lower temperatures, resulting in more energy saving and reduced CO2 emission during the toner production”.
Vipin Tuteja, Executive Director, Technology Channel and International Business, Xerox India, said: “We are excited to introduce these new printers in the Indian market. The printing requirements of small and medium businesses are very different to large enterprises – they are looking for high quality printers at affordable price points to address their needs and our new range of printers are especially designed keeping that in mind. Streamlined performance, ease of use and compact design make our printers attractive for the SMB segment.
“India is one of the fastest growing SMB nations and we see huge potential for us across the top 200 cities in the country.”
