The remanufacturer and MPS software company have announced their joint development of a programme aimed at toner resellers, allowing West Point Products’ customers to “be able to expand into the competitive MPS market”.
The new relationship, they add, will allow West Point Product customers to move “beyond the traditional toner-only approach”, and will provide dealers with the ability to “synchronise meter, service and supply information with their ERP systems”, allowing dealers to “track vital information” whilst also “monitoring service and supplies at the end-user’s site”.
Kevin Tetu, President of FMAudit, stated: “We’re proud to have formed this strategic alliance with West Point Products. West Point is a recognised industry leader and an MPS?driven organisation. They’re a forward?thinking company and always have the growth and profitability of their customers as their main focus. I’m confident that together we’ll bring additional value to their customers.”
Ray Loisel, Senior Vice President of MPS at West Point Products, added: “We are thrilled to have this alliance with ECi FMAudit. And we are very excited to be able to offer FMAudit’s robust software to our dealer channel. This will further enhance the Axess MPS program as the most comprehensive Managed Print Services programme in the industry.
“By providing leading remote monitoring software in addition to the Axess TCO pricing calculator and proposal generator, the West Point MPS suite of solutions ensures our dealers are ahead of the curve with true Web services integration.”
FMAudit recently received a patent for its MPS technology, and formed an alliance with a tablet software provider, having revealed in August last year that it now monitors over four million printers worldwide.
