The new brand is said by the company to set a “new standard for colour printing […] quality and performance”, with a decade’s worth of research and development undertaken to produce the new technology.
West Point Products added that engineering, research and development and manufacturing facilities have been built in the past 10 years “exclusively” to aid its production of colour toner cartridges, which it claims in turn have resulted “in the most advanced colour systems on the market”.
The technology was created by utilizing “propriety robotics” to create an automated manufacturing environment, which, aided by a “quality monitoring system” and “high quality toner and components” has resulted in the ColorLogic Technology line of cartridges from the company. The products are said to offer a “peak printing performance” as well as “consistent, vibrant colour”, and are also said to be “100 percent IP-cleared” with dealers indemnified against OEM litigation.
Tom Day, CEO of West Point Products, added: “We continue to make significant investments in colour technology and infrastructure to ensure we lead the industry in cutting-edge colour performance and quality. ColorLogic Technology is the fruit of those efforts.
“Our rigorous product testing protocols are a key component to this process and ensure that our ColorLogic Technology products perform as well as, or better than, the OEM equivalent. ColorLogic Technology marks the beginning of a new era in colour cartridge technology.”
