WEEE2 compliance focus of UKCRA meeting

ukcraDr. Michael Gell will be presenting a talk on how to ensure compliance with the waste regulations.

The United Kingdom Cartridge Remanufacturing Association (UKCRA) will also be launching an “informative, hands-on” WEEE2 Guide at the meeting, due to take place on 1 October at the Novotel Hotel in Coventry.

Printer cartridges come within scope for the regulations on 1 January 2016, with UKCRA explaining that “all UK toner and inkjet cartridge remanufacturers – including those that are selling any third-party cartridges under their own label” must register with the Environment Agency and assure compliance.

UKCRA launched an Impact Assessment for WEEE2 Regulation at a meeting in March 2015.
