Gwinnett county, the largest in Georgia and just outside Atlanta city, has renewed its printer cartridge contract for $106,703 (€97,600) with a number of suppliers, including one reseller of remanufactured cartridges.
AJC.com reported on the deal, renewed for the second time between the regional government and Creative Office Solutions, who operate as MPS provider Technology Integration Group; and Rasix Computer Center, which does business as Academic Supplier and The Tree House.
The Tree House supplies original cartridges and other supplies for HP printers, while Academic Supplier stocks a number of remanufactured cartridges, under the Innovera brand.
AJC.com said with reference to the contract that “the original equipment manufacturer parts are used throughout the county by various departments”.
