The iColor 700 and iColor 900 digital printers can print “any job, any size, any time”.
The new devices have no minimum runs or need for set up or plates and can be quickly modified, with minimised proofing and prototype times. Uninet also says the printers have “variable data optional software” for printing different information on each label, low temperature LED technology allowing for vibrant colours and the “most diverse library of media available”, such as PET, wood venire, foils, high gloss and dark media.
A white printing kit and fluorescent toner is also available, along with pre-die cut and kiss cut labels printing option via Uninet’s patented auto-registration system, keeping labels “perfectly aligned”. The feed system is also patented, with the label roll stored “away from the elements, saving valuable production space”.
Additionally, the iColor 700 is GHS certified for sections 1, 2, and 3 of the BS5609 standard necessary for IMDG certification, with Uninet stating that “the iColor series of digital label presses is the ideal solution for companies who need to ship dangerous goods overseas”.
Joe Dovi, COO at Uninet, commented: “Uninet offers unique digital press solutions for short to mid run label production. Our digital label printing equipment is perfect for companies who are tired of paying minimum order, plate and per colour fees. It’s time to save time and money by going digital and bringing label printing in house.”
