The United Kingdom Cartridge Remanufacturing Association (UKCRA) will also be launching an “informative, hands-on” WEEE2 Guide at the meeting, due to take place on 1 October at the Novotel Hotel in Coventry. Printer cartridges come within scope for the regulations on 1 January 2016, with UKCRA explaining that “all UK toner and inkjet cartridge remanufacturers – including those that are selling any third-party cartridges under their own label” must register with the Environment Agency and assure compliance.
UKCRA launched an Impact Assessment for WEEE2 Regulation at a meeting in March 2015. Attendees can purchase the guide at the meeting next week, or can order it via email at: email@example.com.
