Research firm states that the UK led shipments to Western Europe of all-in-one inkjet printers in Q4 2011.
Research firm Context has announced that the UK overtook Germany in leading shipments of all-in-one inkjet printers in Q4 2011, reports Channel Web.
The London-based analysts stated in an online update that “both the UK and France registered a healthy 15 percent and 11 percent growth respectively in Q4 2011 versus Q4 2010 […] Germany contracted by five percent over the same period”.
There was a 1.5 percent growth in shipments of all-in-one devices in Western Europe in Q4 2011, in comparison to the same quarter in 2010, although overall shipments in 2011 declined by two percent.
HP remained the leading brand, despite a two percent decrease in sales volume. Canon and Epson managed to increase sales volume to Western Europe by three and 16 percent respectively, in comparison with the final quarter of 2010.
