Toshiba TEC launched the e-STUDIO devices in the Filipino market alongside Tricom Dynamics.
Manila Bulletin reported on the release of the three new series of printers, which include two colour series (three of the devices launched) and one monochrome series (five of the printers launched), and all eight include a “new platform design with the basic body colour changed from ivory to modern sophisticated black”. The colour printers include the e-STUDIO 2000AC, 2500AC and 3505AC, while the monochrome printers include the 2508A, 3008A, 3508A, 4508A and 5008A.
The new machines are said to “blend a newly-engineered software and advanced hardware set” for print, document management and “workflow needs of virtually any business application”, while software includes a dual-scan document feeder, an application platform and customisable tablet touchscreen. The OEM’s e-BRIDGE colour profile tool meanwhile allows for profiles to be created to “adjust colour for varying media types”.
Other features of the printers include scan speeds of 240ipm and a paper capacity of 300 sheets, alongside all eight meeting “the stringent criteria of major environmental programmes and standards” such as EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR. In turn, the printers are said to feature a “more durable and reliable engine to maximise uptime and reduce the total cost of ownership”.
Andy Ow, Country Manager for Philippines, commented: “This newest premium line-up represents the most revolutionised MFPs in our product history. By tapping into every industry’s individual requirements, we integrated high-tech interface with customisation into our MFPs to meet the various demands of today’s business users.”
