Toko holds seminar in Romania
April 10, 2017
The company held a “one day technical seminar” in Timisoara with their partner IMEX and said that “reactions were positive” towards remanufacturing and refilling cartridges.
The seminar focussed on supporting customers from West Romania who are involved in the remanufacturing and refilling business and Toko said that it will be running two or three more day seminars in different cities this year and will announce the dates separately.
The company delegated eight employees, three from technical support, two from sales, two from marketing as well as their CEO Victor Matache to speak about the remanufacturing and refilling business.
The press release said that “Almost every week some of our customers give up the refilling business in favour of reselling compatibles,” and that this decline in the sales of refill materials “at Toko” started in July 2016 and has in the last four months increased.
About 60 customers attended the seminar which had presentations and refilling demonstrations as well as a raffle which was sponsored by Toko’s partner Apex who donated a Unismart system for resetting chips.
A presentation was also given by Miguel Garcia from IMEX and the general consensus was that the seminar received positive feed back from the interactive session and that the company hopes this will “revive the demand for materials for refilling cartridges”.
