UK recycling company to raise funds for learning disability charity.
The Recycling Factory has announced a new partnership with UK learning disability charity Mencap. Through the collaboration, the UK recycling charity will recycle inkjet and toner cartridges and mobile phones in order to raise funds for the charity.
Supporters can send empty inkjet cartridges and mobile phones using freepost envelopes supplied by The Recycling Factory and collection boxes free of charge. Mencap will receive a donation for each cartridge and phone that can be successfully recycled.
Donna Wingfield, Business Development Manager, The Recycling Factory, commented: ”We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Mencap and look forward to raising awareness of their charity whilst raising vital funds in the process. Recycling is a fabulous way to support the charity and be environmentally friendly in the process.”
The Recycling Factory, operating from their site in Boston, Lincolnshire, collect and recycle more than 700,000 inkjet and toner cartridges and mobile phones monthly, and have so far raised more than £2 million ($3/ €2.4 million) for its charity partners.
