This year’s show, which will take place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre on 4 to 6 March, expected to act as “ideal launch pad” for local companies.
Khaleej Times reports that show organisers Messe Frankfurt are expecting a strong local presence at the fourth annual Paperworld Middle East trade fair this year as the paper and office products market continues to grow in the region; with the event described as “an ideal launch pad into wider markets in the region and beyond” for UAE-based companies and brands.
Among the local companies planning to attend the event, which will also include the aftermarket’s Remanexpo@Paperworld Middle East show, is Farook International Stationery. The stationery supplier has been in operation for 34 years but is still looking to strengthen its regional presence and promote its “Made in UAE” products.
President of the company, Farook Rahimtulla, said: “Paperworld Middle East brings together industry professionals from across the region as well as representatives from the worldwide industry, which makes it a very effective forum for those interested in doing business in the region.”
Last year’s Paperworld Middle East attracted 5,728 visitors and saw 268 companies exhibiting their products and services, with The Recycler reporting beforehand that UAE-based companies present at the show were expected to increase by 25 percent compared to the previous year.
