The event’s headline sponsor will be Static Control, while other sponsors include Biuromax, Embatex and Armor.
The Recycler previously announced that the 2016 Focus on Europe conference will take place on 16 and 17 June at the Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental in Lisbon, Portugal. Peter Mayhew, Director and Senior Analyst with Lightwords Imaging, will be chairing the event, and sponsors have now been announced for the conference, with Static Control the headline sponsor, Biuromax and Embatex the co-sponsors, and Armor the junior sponsor.
Ken Lalley, Static Control’s Managing Director for Europe, commented: “We are delighted to add our support to Focus on Europe once again. Every year the conference provides a great opportunity to discuss industry developments, meet with remanufacturers face-to-face and explore the burning issues of the moment. We look forward to another productive and rewarding event.”
Dariusz Wozniak, CEO of Biuromax, noted: “The first Focus in Europe I attended had taken place in Brussels at least nine years ago. It had touched many interesting subjects not only from a purely technical area of recycling. Immediately I got inspired to organise the local seminary to introduce two of my main suppliers and the patent lawyers. I have not missed even one of the Focuses since that time, and I see them as important and worthy of our sponsorship.”
Christian Wernhart, CEO of Embatex, added: “The Focus on Europe conference is the European event to receive information and updates of the topics in our industry.”
Sophie Lansac, Director of Marketing and Communications at Armor Office Printing, stated: “Armor is pleased to sponsor the Focus on Europe conference, as the event brings together the European industry to talk about important topics and network with one another.”

The conference is dedicated to the European remanufacturing industry, with companies and experts from across the continent attending to network, discuss industry trends and talk about the major issues facing remanufacturers in Europe at this time. The event is set to follow the same structure as previous conferences, with an afternoon’s worth of talks and a cocktail evening and dinner on the Thursday, and a half day of seminars on the Friday.
