Trade Arabia reports on the release of Sharp’s latest colour MFPs, which are aimed at corporate reprographic departments and pay-for-print firms needing to react to “urgent, unscheduled” print jobs.
The printers are designed to enable users to print a wider range of documents in-house, with a choice of finishing options being available to enable faster reaction times to unexpected or urgent print jobs. They also boast a 10.1 inch touch screen and an image resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
A 150 sheet high-speed feeder is also a feature of the printers along with a 3,100 paper capacity, which is able to expand to 8,500 sheets with the aim to increase productivity.
Users are able to browse the internet and print web pages, and the printers are designed to be environmentally friendly as they are manufactured without the use of lead and chromium and feature a short warm up time.
Tomoo Shimizu, Director of Business Solutions, Sharp Middle East commented: “With its high levels of productivity, increased user-friendliness and unparalleled reliability, we’re proud to launch our first entry into the competitive, but lucrative production arena.
“To make things as easy as possible, Sharp has equipped the new MFPs with a large colour touch screen which is operated by ‘finger-swipe’ technology – similar to that which is commonly found in smartphones and tablet PCs.”
