Sharp acquires Federalgraphics, LLC

Mike Dudek and Rich Wisniewski of Zygoquest Group served as the advisor to Federalgraphics, LLC and its owner Ron Sparkman and Federalgraphics of Columbus, Inc. and its owners Ron Sparkman and Chad Hasty on the sale of certain assets to Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan’s Sharp Corporation.
Federalgraphics, LLC, which was owned and operated by Ron Sparkman, conducted business in Macon, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama, and Federalgraphics of Columbus, Inc., which was owned and operated by Ron Sparkman and Chad Hasty, conducted business in Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. Ron founded Federalgraphics in 1994 and subsequently acquired a majority ownership interest in DocuSystems Paper Handling Equipment, Inc., (renamed Federalgraphics of Columbus, Inc.) from Chad Hasty who retained an ownership interest.
Federalgraphics provided customers with document solutions and sold and serviced the full lines of copiers, printers, MFP’s and fax of Konica-Minolta, Kyocera, KIP Wide-Format, Riso and Lexmark. Federalgraphics also sold and serviced other office equipment, including mailing systems (FP), phone systems, folders and inserters (MBM), and also provided customers with MPS (Managed Print Services) and IT Managed Services. Ron Sparkman and Chad Hasty will continue to run the acquired business for Sharp which will now feature the sale of Sharp’s full line of multifunction printers and professional display products.
