Sensient appoints new President and CEO

Paul Manning promoted to President and CEO of ink manufacturing company, as well as joining its Board of Directors.
Sensient Technologies Corporation has announced that it has appointed Paul Manning as its new President and CEO, with Manning set to extend his focus to the company’s Flavors & Fragrances Group and other operations.
Prior to his latest appointment, Manning had been elected President of Sensient’s Color Group in 2010 following his role as General Manager of Sensient’s Food Colors in North America and Latin America, in which he went on to focus on pharmaceutical, industrial and inkjet colours.
During role as Color Group president, Manning directed the group’s strategy and investments towards value added products and new technologies in natural colours, pharmaceutical coatings and digital inks, achieving record operating profits as well as improving operating profit margin and gross profit margin.
Michael Geraghty, who has worked as Sensient’s General Manager of Food Colors USA since April 2011, has been selected to replace Manning as President of Sensient’s Color Group.
