The SP 112 and 112SU offer “simplicity, power and superior image quality”.

The OEM revealed that the monochrome, “value-packed” single-function and MFP machines were designed for “small offices”, with profiles of under five and 6.5 inches for the 112 and 112SU respectively. This, combined with their “compact” 15 by 16 inch footprints, means that they “fit virtually anywhere” in small or home offices as well as medical and corporate environments.

The devices feature print speeds of 16 ppm and resolutions of 1200 x 600 dpi, and can be “set up in minutes” using just a USB connection, with a monitor display showing toner levels, settings and status updates. Other aspects include ID card copy mode for the 112SU, and the ability for both printers to handle larger paper of up to 8.5 by 14 inches. The machines also have a 50-sheet paper tray and an all-in-one cartridge “for easy replacement”.

Matt Sakauchi, Vice President of Technology Marketing at Ricoh Americas, stated: “These solutions help our customers with smaller volumes and lighter workloads meet their unique needs for economy and performance. These are important offerings, however, that round out Ricoh’s complete array of solutions. Regardless of the scope, we have a solution to make information work for each customer.”

The SP 112 will sell for $119 (€87), whilst the SP 112SU will sell for $144 (€105).
