Xerox issued a press release announcing that Minnesota-based Rapid Refill now offers the OEM’s cartridges “to strengthen and expand customer bases in more than 22 major markets” across the US; with the cartridges suitable for use in HP and Brother printers despite being Xerox-branded.
According to the OEM, the cartridges were “created and tested in an engineering centre dedicated to replacement cartridge development” and that they “equal or exceed the original equipment manufacturer standards in page-yield, but at a fraction of the cost”.
The press release states that offering the Xerox supplies will allow Rapid Refill customers to “reap the benefits of an aftermarket cost, along with Xerox’s reliability and 100 percent unconditional guarantee”. It is also expected to allow Rapid Refill owners to “attract a new segment of consumers […] who want name brand supplies to ensure reliable operation and top-quality output”.
Lori Kiser-Block, President of Rapid Refill, commented: “It makes sense to offer a trusted brand supplier like Xerox as it enhances our mission to provide best-in-class print solutions and service.”
Meanwhile Bob Giest, a Rapid Refill franchisee, said: “The Xerox brand has opened doors that weren’t there for my business previously. The added benefit was the customer was impressed by the cartridges’ vivid colour.”
