The remanufacturer has launched 34 new products since the start of the year.
The company stated that 2015 has seen “very positive business development” so far, down to its “very rapid product development”, with the new products released for Brother, Lexmark, HP, Ricoh, Samsung and Utax printers, as well as “new packaging solutions” including a four-pack Samsung CLP-365 and CLP-415.
A new Brother product from the was a 15,000 page drum for use in the DCP-9020, HL-3140, 3150 and 3170 and MFC-9330, 9140 and 9340 cartridges, while HP launches included CMYK cartridges for the Color LaserJet Enterprise M651, with yields of 20,500 pages in black and 15,000 pages in colour, while another monochrome cartridge for use in the M651 as well as the M680 featured a yield of 11,500 pages. Finally, CMYK cartridges for the M680 alone were released, with yields of 21,000 pages in black and 16,500 pages in colour.
For Lexmark machines, Printlife released CMYK replacements for use in the C792 machine in two yields (as explained below), with one set featuring yields of 6,000 pages and the other 20,000 pages. For Ricoh, three monochrome cartridges were released: one for use in the Aficio SP 3400 and 3410, with a yield of 5,000 pages; one for use in the Aficio SP 3500 and 3510, with a yield of 6,400 pages; and one for use in the Aficio SP 4100 and 4310 machines, with a yield of 15,000 pages.
The Samsung releases consisted of CMYK replacements for the OEM’s CLP-680 and CLX-6260 printers, with the black featuring a yield of 6,000 pages and the colours of 3,500 pages: and monochrome replacements, the first for the Xpress M2000 with a yield of 1,000 pages; the second for use in the SL-M4025, 3325, 3825, 4075, 3375 and 3875 with a yield of 5,000 pages; the third for the 4025, 3825, 4075 and 3875 of 10,000 pages; and the last for the 4025 and 4075 of 15,000 pages.
Finally, for Utax, CMYK alternatives for the manufacturer’s CLP-3721 machine featured yields of 3,500 pages in black and 2,800 pages in colour.
Christian Flögel, Printlife’s Sales Director, stated that “as of [26 February], we already introduced 34 new products this year, and most of them are available [and in] stock. The quarter is sure to bring some more innovations”. The company also expanded its range of already-launched cartridges to include “different yield sizes”, for example with the MS, MX and CX Lexmark cartridges which are “now being presented in the low yield size that is usually the same size as the first install in the printer”.
Flögel added that “our customers brought this to our attention. There is a growing demand for these yields even for OEM products out there in the market”. Pascal Kaindl, Managing Director of Printlife, also stated that “it is important to implement the demands and needs of our customers and their customers”.
