Former fax machine salesman to take charge of UK business operations.
Long-term Brother employee Phil Jones has been placed in charge of Brother UK’s business operations with his promotion to Deputy Managing Director, reports Manchester Evening News.
Having joined the printer manufacturer in 1995 as a fax machine salesman, Jones will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 180-strong company based in Audenshaw, Tameside. He will report to Yuji Ishiguro, Managing Director of Brother International Europe, who will assume the UK Managing Director statutory functions.
Jones commented: “Brother UK operates in a dynamic and ever-changing market where innovation, speed to market and marketing effectiveness are vital to achieve success.
“With almost two decades of experience with the company, I’ve never had two days the same and it’s kept me fresh and invigorated about the future.
