Mayhew will host the seminar programme at Remanexpo@Paperworld 2015 later this month.
The Recycler is pleased to announce that Peter Mayhew, Director at Lightwords Imaging, will host the 2015 REMCON seminar programme at this year’s Remanexpo@Paperworld event, to be held in Frankfurt from 31 Jan to 3 Feb 2015.
In September 2014, the call for papers was issued, and a record number of abstracts have been received for REMCON 2015. These support a range of remanufacturing-related issues that have been set as the basis for the 2015 conference, and include: technical presentations on the Lexmark C792, Samsung CLP 770 and HP M127 cartridges; entering the remanufacturing sector; premium pricing strategies; 3D printing; penetrating the OEM consumables segment; the future of remanufactured cartridges in Europe; threats to the imaging industry; market insights; inkjet versus laser; opportunities and challenges in the aftermarket; and intellectual property – our own worst enemy?
Mayhew commented: “Naturally, I’m delighted to be hosting the 2015 REMCON seminar programme at this year’s Remanexpo@Paperworld. A great change for 2015 is the relocation of the seminar theatre to the centre of Hall 6.0, where it becomes the show hub for education, market insight and networking, with numerous must-see presentations, product demonstrations, ceremonies and receptions.
“Last year a packed seminar room saw both OEM and aftermarket companies together on the same stage answering very direct questions about critical issues facing the industry. This year, I’m especially looking forward to hearing Static Control’s Jason Doran, joined by Lexmark’s Andrew Gardner and a representative from HP, discussing intellectual property matters; as well as Alan Westerfield from the Imaging Supplies Coalition discussing the critical issue of counterfeiting. Plus, there will be presentations about business ink Jet, 3D printing and best practice remanufacturing techniques.
“Whether this is your first visit to Remanexpo@Paperworld or you are a regular visitor, be sure to plan your visit around the seminar schedule, as you cannot rearrange these meetings!”
David Connett, Editor and Publisher of The Recycler, said: “We are pleased to welcome Peter back as the Chair for REMCON 2015. He has given numerous talks at previous shows and is the ideal person to Chair this year’s discussions.”
He added: “Whether you’re interested in entering into remanufacturing, looking to learn the latest about counterfeiting and IP, or wanting to gain insight into the market, there is something for every visitor.”
