OKI releases new MFPs

OKI releases new MFPs

November 2, 2016

The OEM has released a range of colour single printers and MFPs.

OKI-Logo The portfolio is an expansion on OKI’s smart printer range, and extends “smart printing and document management and control to the desktop for the first time”, enabling businesses to step into the digital market introducing “smoother workflows, greater productivity and responsiveness with fantastic colour output and digital solutions”.

All the new devices include the new features to “improve connectivity and Gigabit Ethernet to enable the fast transfer of large colour files across a network”. The C542 and MC573 are compatible with AirPrint, and all the models are “Google Cloud Print 2.0 ready for mobile printing”. All the printers have the latest security features as well as Private Print, and there is optional “Card Release and Internet Protocol Security compliance”.

The C332dn and the MC363dn are said to be affordable, and have Pro02400 print quality and fast speeds, with the latter offering duplex copying, faxing, scanning and printing. The C542dn and the MC573 with seven-inch touchscreen and smart printing are also said to be good for businesses streamlining workflow, and have an open software platform with printing speeds of 30ppm and 1,200 x 1,200dpi print quality.

The upper range includes the C612dn and C712dn, and both come with speed of production and output, and have low costs of ownership. The A3 digital LED printers, the C823, 833 and 843 are the “smallest on the market”. Due to OKI’s digital LED technology and HD Colour output, the C800 series is said to deliver “outstanding print quality particularly saturated colours and finer details on an unrivalled range of media, perfect for creative businesses”.

Andrew Hall, Marketing Manager for OKI Systems, commented: “The new portfolio is designed to change perceptions of what a printer can do for businesses and organisations. We are encouraging customers to take a fresh look at the potential of these affordable devices to help them build their brand, save time and money and enhance productivity. They can also help develop a streamlined and secure document workflow and management, enabling them to enjoy the benefits of a digital organization.

“This launch marks a major renewal of our colour product range, opening up new market possibilities but also strengthening our core market provision. It makes big business capability available to every size of organisation and adds even more functionality as standard across the range to improve connectivity, security and ease of use.”
