The device series features “the smallest footprint in its class” according to OKI, with the C800 device series winning awards from PrintIT and PCPro for its “compact design, functionality and innovation”, stated OKI UK’s Marketing Director Graham Lowes, whilst the C822n independently also won an award from PCPro.
The C822dn and C822n feature smaller dimensions than other laser devices, as well as OKI’s in-built energy-saving features, including a ‘Deep Sleep’ mode, which “reduces consumption” to less than one watt, and ‘Auto Power Off’ technology.
The two machines feature print speeds of up to 23 ppm in colour and monochrome, and feature options for 300-sheet input trays, 100-sheet multipurpose trays and duplexing, though the C822dn features duplexing as standard. Both also feature a print resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi.
Lowes added: “Our C800 range addresses a key concern for many customers – how to print cost-effectively without losing out on quality. We looked hard at the market requirements, together with customer feedback and developed these new models to be more compact, easier to use, while consuming less power.
“This series offers affordability for those on limited budgets, together with low total cost of ownership for the larger business. We are delighted to receive such important industry recognition. At OKI we never stop pushing the boundaries of technology as we understand it is vital that businesses have access to affordable and flexible printing.”
The C822n is available for €959 ($1,289) whilst the C822dn is available for €1,110 ($1,492), whilst a full toner set with CMYK cartridges costs €599 ($805).
