December 1, 2016

ninestarcartridgesThe company has released toner cartridges for use in a series of Canon’s imageCLASS and i-SENSYS machines.

Ninestar noted that the cartridges are “patented” and “first to market”, as well as being “targeted at medium-to-high end customers”, with the 710 series of imageCLASS and i-SENSYS machines launched in April and including the LBP712cdn, 712cx, i-SENSYS LBP170cx and 721cx. The LBP710cx in particular features print speeds of 33ppm, a resolution of 600 x 600dpi and a monthly load of 80,000 pages.

The cartridges’ advantages include that they are “self-developed patented products”, with quality “comparable to OEM”, and as previously noted “first to market”. The CMYK cartridges come in standard and high-yield versions, with the standard yield cartridges featuring yields of 6,300 pages in black and 5,400 pages in colour, and the high yield cartridges feature yields of 12,500 pages in black and 10,000 pages in colour.
