Ninestar has announced that it has developed new technology to improve the manufacturing of colour cartridges by ensuring “high quality and stability of colour cartridges with zero percent toner leakage”.
The new Industrial Engineering (IE) 12 technology features 12 processing steps evolved from years of research and development, with the focus being on achieving zero percent toner leakage in its colour cartridges.
Included in the 12 steps are ensuring “world-leading” incoming materials control, undertaking advanced R&D, with coloured rollers being of particular focus, and adopting a “strict manufacturing process”. The company also adds that it tries to retain the OEM cartridge to the maximum extent to ensure the print performance is maintained to a high standard.
Another feature of the IE 12 technology is placing emphasis on product lifecycle inspection, during which trained technicians conduct printing tests in different temperature and humidity conditions.
Ninestar states that the new IE12 technology steps that it is taking results in “improved print quality and higher performance reliability to achieve OEM-level print experiences for our customers”, and that it hopes to bring the same success it has had with mono cartridges to the manufacturing of colour cartridges.
