Leadership changes have been announced at the office supply company.
Biz Journals reported that the appointments could shake up operations from “retail to ecommerce” and that despite the company closing hundreds of stores and the decline of sales the company has made the executive changes.
The new President of Office Depot’s Business Solutions Division is Steve Calkins who will focus on B2B customers. Calkin has been with the company since 2003 as part of the legal team and the Vice President and Chief Legal Officer in 2016.
The President of the Retail Division falls to Troy Rice who will manage the “strategic direction of the company’s stores and oversee its copy and print business”. Rice was previously awarded $1.87 million (€1.67 million) compensation from Office Depot in 2016 he was previously “Executive Vice President and COO.
Other changes include Michael Allison as Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer also awarded compensation from the company in 2016 amounting to $2.46 million (€2.20 million) and Kevin Moffitt as Chief Digital Leader while John Gannfors heads up as Executive Vice President of Transformation and Strategic Sourcing.
