NAND ipl, a developer of nanotechnology products including toner, has launched its newly designed website which enables customers to learn more about the company and the products and services it offers.
The website, which can be visited at www.nandipl.com, also enables customers to view a “virtual tour” of the company’s facilities using various images taken of its India-based site, including the equipment it uses to manufacture its products.
In addition, NAND has announced that it will partner with TATA Chemicals Ltd. (TCL) to manufacture TCL’s “patented nano Zinc Oxide product”, along with an “entire portfolio of functional ingredients” developed by TCL using nanotechnology for future products.
An agreement in the form of a letter written by Arup Basu of TCL to Kumar Abhinava, Managing Director of NAND, can be viewed via NAND’s website and states that NAND ipl will manufacture the nano Zinc Oxide, while TCL will market the product, with “initial volumes [being] projected at about 1MT per month” but the company expecting “demand to increase to about 10 MT per month within a year”.
Zinc Oxide is used in the manufacturing of a number of different products, including toner, plastics, and batteries.
