Yoel Wazana’s toner cartridge recycling efforts help to raise money for youth soccer clubs.
Virtual Strategy Magazine reports that MSE’s President Yoel Wazana is raising money for local soccer teams in Southern California where the remanufacturer is based.
The money is being raised through the company’s fund raising collection programmes, with Wazana commenting: “These fundraising programmes allow me to mix two of my passions: soccer and environmental sustainability.”
Wazana also spoke of the benefits of remanufacturing cartridges: “Many people who print don’t know that every time they throw away a used cartridge, they are essentially wasting three litres of oil and discarding over one pound of plastic. Recycling toner cartridges isn’t just green, it allows us to manufacture a true alternative to high-priced original cartridges, which can only be done through the collection of there empties right here in the USA.”
