MMC renews environmental standards label
September 11, 2012
Remanufacturer’s toner cartridges have China Environmental Labelling Product Certificate renewed until 2015.
MMC has announced that its toner cartridges have been re-issued with the China Environmental Labelling Product Certificate by the Ministry of Environment Protection of P.R. China, demonstrating that the cartridges meet the quality and environmental standards required during their manufacture, usage and disposal process.
188 different models of MMC monochrome toner cartridges are among the certified products, with the certificate remaining valid until August 2015.
Based on the ISO14020 series standards, the label is now the national standard of environment protection in China and ensures that all certified products carry less toxic and hazardous material whilst saving energy and resources.
Teresa Liu, Sales Director, MMC, commented: “We are pleased and honoured to renew this certificate because every staff [member] in our company have always been making great effort for it.
“We are a state-owned company and the MMC brand is widely accepted in global market, so besides the quality, we think highly of our environment during product manufacturing process. Last year, we finished renewing ISO14001 certificate for our products. These two certificates are both rewards for what MMC has been trying to achieve these years. Now we will continue our work and make sure these certified products remain green in the future periodical surveillances.
“At the same time, MMC is having its other products such as colour toner cartridges and ink cartridges to be inspected by Ministry of Environment Protection. We are confident that all of MMC brand imaging supplies will be qualified for China Environmental Labelling Product Certificate.”
