Independent office products supplier’s cartridge recycling programme sees success.
UK independent office products supplier MBM Omega has celebrated raising over £2,200 ($3,522/€2,723) for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity through a cartridge collection programme, with the cartridges sent to an unnamed company to be recycled.
The money will cover the transport costs of one of Rainbow Trust’s Family Support Workers for four months, which includes transport for not only the patient but also the entire family.
Kimberley Butterfield, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Rainbow Trust, commented: “We’re really grateful to MBM Omega for all their support in raising this fantastic amount of money. This is such a simple way to raise money and the fact that it is beneficial to both the environment and to helping support sick children is really encouraging for more people to recycle their ink cartridges.”
MBM Omega Marketing Manager Diana Green added: “All proceeds are donated to our official charity partner, Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity so every cartridge our customers return helps Rainbow Trust provide emotional and practical support for families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness.”
