Dominican Today reports that Lexmark has launched content management solutions that aim to “streamline business processes and bolster business efficiency in Dominican Republic”, as well as announcing a range of monochrome laser printing solutions and colour and MFP products that combine with the “Print Less, Save More” approach.
The “Print Less, Save More” approach is designed to enable businesses to reduce printing, increase a return on investment and protect the environment; with Julio Tuñón of Lexmark Latin America Software Business Development commenting: “The ‘print less’ led us to understand the importance of information on paper. Today we’ve expanded our value by focusing on the entire life cycle of content and as an exponential improvement on workflow efficiency and productivity in different organizations.”
Lexmark has expanded on its MPS, content management solutions, business process management (BPM) and Process for Mining Technologies after acquiring a number of companies that specialise in these areas, including Perceptive Software, Brainware, Isys and Pallas Nolijm Athena.
Tuñón explained: “Since the purchase of these companies, Lexmark has been reinforcing its current solutions to the industry focused on document workflow and print managed services, and has ventured into a promising business area such as the Enterprise Content Management, with content management solutions and business processes for the segments of banking and finance, education, healthcare, government, and manufacturing of different types of solutions ranging from opening current accounts, and management applications credits, up to order routing in warehouses, confidential printing, forms management and marketing processes, among many others. “
