Leon Roberge new CIO at Toshiba

Toshiba Tec Corporation companies announced the appointment of Leon Roberge as its CIO.
Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions announced the promotion of Leon Roberge to chief information officer at the two U.S.-based Toshiba Tec Corporation companies.
In this new role, Roberge will be responsible for developing global IT strategy and information security policies and standards for Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. He is also tasked with establishing the organizations’ IT architecture, managing vendors and suppliers and developing staff. Roberge previously served as vice president of information technology at the two Toshiba companies.
Roberge was responsible for the IT departments at Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions since 2016 and served 16 years in senior IT roles at Toshiba America, Inc. and Toshiba America Electronic Components.
The OEM said that as vice president of IT at Toshiba America, Inc., he adopted initiatives standardising, consolidating and reducing costs through the development of shared service centres servicing multiple Toshiba companies.
